RhPAP has developed a strong community development and engagement program, based on over a decade of involvement with rural communities and their work to support health professions’ attraction and retention. Collaboration and capacity building enhance community efforts, accompanied with a rural passion for citizen health and well-being that further fuels the good work being carried out at the local level.
- Building Community Capacity: RhPAP’s Rural Community Development and Engagement Program
RhPAP, as part of a panel with the Nurse Practitioner Association of Alberta (NPAA), gave a presentation on the community capacity building strategies offered to rural Alberta by its community development and engagement team.
