• Highlight your assets: Showcase amenities, recreation, culture, and lifestyle.
• Personalize the experience: Invite candidates for community tours, events, and meet-and-greets with local residents and healthcare teams.
• Think long-term: Invest in programs that bring healthcare students to train in your community. Evidence shows they’re more likely to return once qualified.
• Engage with learners: Partner with local schools, post-secondary institutions, and RhPAP programs like Let’s Go Rural to inspire local youth to pursue healthcare careers.
