Emma Hulit is a member of her local Quad Municipality (Milk River, Warner, Coutts, County of Warner) support committee and the Old Man River Health Advisory Committee (HAC). Emma has worked tirelessly over the past 10 years in supporting the health and well-being needs of her community. She is pictured here sitting on one of two new flex beds recently installed at the Milk River Health Centre that she advocated for over the years.
As this story comes full-circle, Emma was the first person admitted to utilize the new flex bed! So the room is now fondly referred to as “Emma’s Room. Emma is not slowing down, and recently completed the paperwork for a local border community foundation. This new organization will now be able to apply for grants to meet the health and wellness needs of her community and surrounding communities through various wellness initiatives, transportation, hospital equipment etc.
