The Rhapsody Healthcare Heroes Award honours individuals and teams who improve patient care, support colleagues, and strengthen community life in rural Alberta.
Who can be nominated
Individuals: Regulated health professionals who live and work in a rural Alberta community.
Teams: A group that works together with shared goals and accountability. Team members must live and work in rural Alberta.
Nominees must not have previously received the Healthcare Heroes Award and must be willing to be featured in a short profile video.
Rural is defined as communities under 15,000 people outside the Calgary or Edmonton CMA. Not sure if your nominee qualifies? Contact us to confirm info@rhpap.ca

- Community celebration: Planned with the local community and held in the community in June 2026.
How recipients are selected
- A volunteer Rhapsody Awards Selection Committee representing Alberta’s rural zones reviews eligible nominations using a standardized evaluation form.
