RhPAP welcomes Amber Link to its Board of Directors as representative for the Rural Municipalities of Alberta.
Link has deep roots in rural Alberta. She grew up on the family farm and ranch, and except for a few years of university to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree, has lived in the Wheatland County her whole life. Link and her husband have raised five children.
She was first elected to Wheatland County Council in 2017, was elected to serve as Reeve in 2018, and is returning for a second term as councillor in 2021.
In 2020, Link was elected to the Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA) Board. Her work as a Director provides crucial insight into issues impacting rural municipalities across Alberta. Link is also pursuing an MBA – Global, with much of her current work being in governance.
