Irish-trained family physician, Robert “Bobby” Crowe, enjoys the mixture of hospital and office work that comes with rural practise.
“You will practice to full spectrum, you will have people who are days old and who are in the 90’s, you have every problem that people can face.”
Dr. Crowe, who has been in Beaverlodge since 1988, says Alberta is a supportive environment for rural physicians.
“I find that the majority of people are well trained for it, and you tend to use your training to the full limits, and it’s nice to get pushed, that’s what makes it rewarding.”
