The Canadian Medical Association (CMA) hosted its inaugural Health Summit in Winnipeg on August 20 & 21, 2018, sparking a national conversation about innovation and its potential to help build a future of better health.
The summit set out to challenge participants’ thinking, help them build an innovation mindset, and equip them to lead change.
Participants at the Health Summit explored how:
-
Innovation can support culturally diverse, inclusive and accessible care;
-
Technology can enable and promote patient-centred care, and better serve vulnerable populations, and;
-
Patients and physicians can prepare for and embrace bold innovations.
For those not able to attend, many video highlights have been posted online on the Health Summit website.
