Dr. Clarence Wong talks about the 2016 Endoscopy Skills Day; why its important and what makes the conference different.
This annual course aims to advance the cognitive and technical skills of physicians and nurses who routinely participate in endoscopy procedures. Gastroenterologists, general surgeons, family physicians and nurses talk about topics relevant to gastrointestinal medicine and endoscopy.
“There is a whole factor of quality that within the last 10 years has competely revolutionized how we do [endoscopy],” says Dr. Wong. “We would never be able to go into a small community to do this, but this is a chance to bring all the province together in one spot.”
