RhPAP is pleased to welcome Jennifer Best as our newest Rural Community Consultant for the north-east zone.
Jennifer has been living, working, and playing in the Wood Buffalo Region for the last 14 years. In her career, Jennifer has worked in both the private and non-for-profit sectors, including time in the oil and gas industry as well as the Government of Alberta. Jennifer’s efforts have led to her being recognized locally as the 2015 recipient of the Heart of Wood Buffalo Board Leadership Award, and being named to Your McMurray’s Magazine’s top 50 under 50 in 2017.
“I am excited to work in our rural communities with the supports offered through RhPAP,” says Jennifer. “It really is a dream job come true!”
Mother to a beautiful, 20-month-old girl, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Colin, and dog, Willow, while exploring the vast outdoors whether that be kayaking, canoeing, camping, or just floating down the river.
