Collaboration and partnership are proven means of increasing the reach and impact of work focused on rural Alberta, and this is also true for that which is related to health and well-being.
Delegates to the 2022 RMA Fall Convention can join us on Nov. 9 for a workshop that will highlight the collaboration and partnerships that involves RhPAP, the Canada Mental Health Association (CMHA) Rural Mental Health project, and how we tie into Alberta Health Services Community Engagement (AHS CE) Health Advisory Councils.
This workshop will share the collaboration between the organizations, and how it ultimately leads to enhanced support to, and meaningful interactions with, rural Alberta communities. It will also highlight the learnings each organization has gained from collaborating more intentionally in areas related to health and well-being in rural Alberta.
Workshop presenters and areas of programming:
RhPAP – Shanda Berns, Sr.Manager, Community Development and Engagement
CMHA – Jessica Turowski, Manager, Rural Mental Health project
