Did you know RPAP coordinates accommodations for the province’s two rural family medicine residency programs?
Our program support coordinator for southern Alberta, Shawna Banman, sent us the following note from a Rural Alberta South resident and his significant other, thanking RPAP for a great place to stay while he was on his two month rotation in Canmore, along with photos to share:
“Canmore was a fantastic rural family medicine rotation, made all that much better by RPAP’s unbelievable accommodations! My day consisted of clinic or hospital-based medicine, with some enthusiastic and motivated educators who really cared about the town and its people.
Leaving work would take your breath away as you were immediately confronted by a 360-degree mountain vista and the Three Sisters staring down at you. The accommodations were a rustic cabin-style townhouse with a breathtaking view of Grotto Mountain. Finally, the hiking and biking trails were just out the backyard, which made it so easy to balance medicine and enjoying the Canmore lifestyle during my time here!”
