Today we are pleased to release the second and final section of the 2014-2015 Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
This section presents information associated with RPAP | Health Workforce for Alberta funded and supported initiatives, provided by the University of Alberta (U of A) and the University of Calgary (U of C), that are designed to expose medical students and resident physicians to rural-based practice.
Subjects reported on in this document include:
- Rural Rotations
- Alberta Rural Family Medicine Network (ARFMN)
- Continuing Medical Education / Continuous Professional Learning
For example, KPI 13.8 outlines the percentage of Family Medicine graduates in the traditional program who are practicing in rural/regional communities in Alberta three years after graduation:
