A small town with big amenities will host Alberta’s premiere rural healthcare recruitment convention.
The town of Vermilion was selected from a pool of six Central Alberta applicants to host the 2016 RPAP Rural Alberta Community Physician Attraction and Retention Conference.
The two-day event will take place on 28-29 September 2016, and will mark the first time the RPAP Rural Community Conference has taken place in a rural Alberta community.
The RPAP Rural Community Conference is a place where representatives of rural Alberta physician attraction and retention committees, as well as interested community members from across the province, gather to share experiences and learn about new initiatives related to the attraction, retention, and recruitment of physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
For more information on the 2016 Conference, please contact Rebekah Seidel, Conference Coordinator, at rebekah.seidel@rpap.ab.ca.
