Both RhPAP and the Pembina Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee are excited to see the conference take place after two years of postponement due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The theme for the conference will be, “Put on your Perspectacles: Looking through the rural lens”. The conference will provide an exceptional opportunity for those interested or involved in attraction and retention to learn from each other and to share best practices.
“RhPAP is thrilled to once again host this conference. It has been a long wait, as we have had to postpone for the last two years. Our conference programming will have a fresh and relevant look at current attraction and retention efforts, and we are hearing a great deal of excitement from rural community members looking to re-connect with their peers.” – Rebekah Seidel, Director of Rural Community Development and Engagement, RhPAP
The conference will feature three days of presentations and interactive sessions by informative, and experienced speakers and panelists who will inspire and clarify community building efforts. Networking opportunities and a special community-based dinner with local entertainment will provide opportunities to engage with other community members, organizations, and stakeholders from across the province. The event will close with a talented key-note speaker who is sure to leave conference participants empowered.
“The Pembina Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee is excited to finally be able to host this event. We cannot wait to connect with other A&R committees and to share tactics and ideas. This conference will be a perfect opportunity to re-energize and refocus the efforts of committees from across the province. I personally look forward to the chance to show off our wonderful community.”
– Pat Jefferey, President, Pembina Attraction and Retention Committee
