A compendium of local, national, and international research related to rural health workforce issues.
Your Opinion Matters! Let us know how we can better serve rural Alberta.
RhPAP engages in and supports research related to the education, attraction, and retention of health professions for rural practice. By collaborating with partners on research projects and initiatives across Alberta, RhPAP aims to develop innovative programs and policy towards improved rural health services and outcomes.
RhPAP has provided funding and support for over 30 published studies on rural health:
RhPAP is the rural voice, providing evidence-informed data about what people are thinking about health care in rural Alberta, fuelled by the people who live there.
To ensure the opinions of rural Albertans are being heard by key stakeholders, we have developed the Rural Voice Information Panel, or Rural VIP–a provincial platform for rural Alberta community Attraction and Retention committee members to provide their voice to health-related matters.
The Rural VIP is a regular feedback process carried out through online surveys. Each month we distribute a summary of the results, which are listed below.
