Advancing Rural Family Medicine: The Canadian Collaborative Taskforce is pleased to release the Rural Road Map for Action, a comprehensive and long term strategy to improve access and equity to health care in rural communities, which was formally launched at a Rural Health Care Summit in Ottawa. RPAP is proud to be a major contributor to this report.
The Rural Road Map for Action provides 20 recommendations to enhance rural health care. It highlights the roles of educators, providers, health administrators, policy-makers, government and researchers.
